We
are a Bristol based business specialising in the reclamation and recycling
of Computer and IT related products. Our purpose is to help to reduce the
vast quantities of computer related equipment going to waste by returning
redundant equipment to useful service.
Products that we can accept for recycling include: Computers, Computer components
& peripherals, Servers, Laptops, Monitors (CRT's, TFT, Plasma, LCD displays), Networking components,
etc, etc...
OUR SERVICE:
We will either collect your redundant equipment, free of charge where
possible (Please see the 'Collections' page for details), or you may
deliver it to our unit in Fishponds, Bristol.
Once there Data destruction will be performed on all Hard disks (see
'Data Destruction' below) and all Company or personal identification
markings will be removed.
Equipment which is not to be re-used will then be dismantled. Any
usable components will be reclaimed and the remains will be graded
and dispatched to our network of third party specialists who will
recover the raw materials by the method appropriate for type.
Data Destruction:
Under the Data Protection Act we are required to permanently destroy
all data on hard drives that may be re-used rather than scrapped.
We securely destroy the information on those drives
using highly specialised formatting procedures which ensure the total
destruction of the data without possibility of its recovery. This
process can be certified where required.
